Discipleship is the difference between a church that just exists and a church that changes the world around it. A very wise man once stated that “if you set the church on fire, all the world will come to watch it burn.” The key is to bring each Christian to a mature relationship with Christ.

2 Timothy 2:2
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Operation Timothy is a discipleship program that leads a person from the very basics of faith in Christ to a point where they are able to understand what God wants of each of His children and how to apply it in his daily life.

It is designed to use one on one or in small groups, however it still works well with larger groups. OT consists of Four books and an leaders guide. It is written in such a way that when a person has finished the fourth book he is ready to start leading others through the books. I is a little like setting a fire, as you finish with one group most of those who were in the first group are ready to start an Operation Timothy class on there own. As you can see in a very short time you have reached many people.

If we do this faithfully we will see our churches not only grow in numbers but those in the church will be mature Christians using the gifts and talents in the church and in the community to see their world come to Christ.
