THE GREAT ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL CHURCH

      ( A.K.A. VICTORY TEMPLE ASSEMBLY )

MEN'S MINISTRIES

KINGS FELLOWSHIP

The King's Fellowship mobilize men to know that as children of God, they are the head of the family and see to let sanity prevail in the family, Church and the entire society.

King's Fellowship is a new way of looking at oneself as a godly man. If a man can look himself in the mirror and see himself as someone different, someone dressed in the full armor of God, fully ready to take on life as a man of honor, then we will have accomplished the vision of HonorBound: Men of Valour.

The Men’s Ministry of The Great Achievers is focused on meeting the various needs of men.  Men in our society today need discipleship, fellowship, instruction, accountability and recreation.  The Men’s Ministry seeks to provide for these needs through a variety of ways.

Vision
"As a constituent part of the GAIC resting on biblical authority the Men's
Department seeks to Lead men to Christ and equip them to Christian Service"

OFFERTORY SPECIAL MUSIC

There are those within the local body who possess the ability and desire to minister encouragement through God-given musical or dance talent.  This ministry offers vocal, instrumental, or dance arrangements during the receiving of regularly scheduled offerings in our services each week.  IYKE VAL is the coordinator for the monthly Offertory Schedule.  Those on this schedule are regular attending adults in our congregation who have dedicated their ability to God, desire to minister and show a definite musical or dance ability.  If you would like to learn more about Offertory Special Music please contact the Music Director/ Choir Master at VICTORY TEMPLE ASSEMBLY.

                 OUR  PRESIDENT DECLARATION

   Rev.(Mrs) Deborah U.NNAMS

I pray... that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened...Ephesians 1:18 NIV

Our vision is limited due to our human nature as well as by the influence of sin in our lives. The Gospel, however, provides a blessed opportunity of seeing reality, other people, and ourselves with new eyes.

As  Great Achievers women see a new, we affirm that:

  • We are created in God’s image.
  • We, as God’s daughters, are chosen to be co-heirs of the Kingdom of God.
  • We, our families, and our faith communities are called to live in the Shalom of God that involves a spiritual, physical, emotional, and material peace.
  • We, as women, are called to exercise our diverse gifts and ministries in full partnership with our brothers in Christ.

"Seeing with new eyes" means that we, as Great Achievers women, are able to see more clearly the holisitic salvation that Jesus offers, and the challenges that sharing in Christ's ministry poses for us. Thus, we denounce and condemn false and oppressive visions of God, ourselves, our families, the church, the Bible, ministry, and reality.

As Great Achievers women, we covenant to support and uphold a Biblical vision of God and the world which enables us to see beyond the practices of our various cultures that condone the exploitation of our sisters through injustices, violence, and oppression.

As we continue to see all of life through Christ’s eyes of truth, love, compassion, and victory, we will fulfill our calling to create communities that reflect the Shalom of God, and live to the praise of God’s glory.

Amen!

GENERAL OVERSEER/FOUNDERS GAIC

Apostle Prince and Rev.(Mrs) Deborah Nnams  Executive Pastor of Pastoral Care

The Apostle Paul wrote that bearing one another’s burdens is obeying the law of Christ.  In fact, it is what Christ did for you and me.  He bore our sorrow; He took upon Himself our grief.  Our own sin was placed upon Him so we could be forgiven.  Thank God for a Christ who will bear our burdens! Thank God for a church family who will bear one another’s burdens!  Please let us help bear your burdens.   Apostle Prince and the rest of the pastoral staff cares about your needs.  We want to be there to be a support to you.  You do not need to bear your burden alone.  We love you and want to help bear your burdens.

 Pastoral Care Ministry is…

  • Hospital Visitation
  • Pastoral Counseling
  • Weddings
  • Funerals
  • Benevolence
  • Your needs!

 OUR FOCUS:
POSSESSING THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST

Jesus Christ came as our Savior that we might possess and experience His abundant life; a life unencumbered with hate, bitterness, vengeance, anger, unforgiveness, and all other ills that plague people. Instead, He earnestly desires to fill us with His love, joy, and peace. He wants us to experience His gentleness, kindness, and self control. His goal is for us to become partakers of His Divine Nature, to possess His character. This is also the goal of the ministry, to possess the character of Christ.

When Christ Who is our life appears, then you will also appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:4

SHARING THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST

The Great Commission of Jesus Christ is to GO into the whole world and teach others about the saving grace of God. First, the group seeks to minister God's grace to others by being an example of what the Holy Spirit can do in the life of one who believes. They are ready to answer anyone who wants to know why they have such a great hope. This is sharing the character of Christ on a personal basis.

"Go therefore  and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  Matthew 28:19,20
